PXIE-7862 features a user programmable FPGA for high-performance onboard processing and direct control of I/O signals to ensure complete flexibility in system timing and synchronization. This module directly connects 16 analog input channels to the Kindex-7 325T FPGA, providing enough space to design applications that require precise timing, such as hardware in the loop testing, custom protocol communication, sensor simulation, and high-speed control. PXIE-7862 has dedicated analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) per channel for independent timing and triggering. This module provides various specialized functions that typical data acquisition hardware does not possess, such as multi rate sampling and independent channel triggering. PXIe-7862 supports point-to-point data streams for direct transmission of data to other PXI Express modules.
